Our commitment goes beyond just visiting the next destination on your wishlist. We want to establish real connections between you, the destination, and its people. We wish to create a profound impact that resonates with both you, the traveler, and the local communities.
Travel, in its truest form, is a teacher in the school of life. It goes beyond the search of mere physical pleasure or a temporary escape from the pressure of our busy lives. It opens new horizons, it allows us to have new experiences, it’s a powerful tool to learn about new peoples, countries and cultures, it’s an instrument to promote understanding and peace; it lets us become global citizens.
Our Passion
We dedicate ourselves to serve worldwide travelers in search of more personalized travel experiences. As such, we certainly offer all the prominent landmarks and highlights Myanmar has to offer, but we like to take it a step further.
Myanmar is often described as a mystical country where time appears to have come to a standstill many decades ago, as one of the last frontiers to a world unexplored. While Yangon and Mandalay may have caught up with contemporary progress, a lot of the country still lives a more traditional life.
Not unlike its neighbour Thailand, there is literally something to enjoy for everyone: white-sand beaches, majestic mountains, rolling green hills and calm lakes; exotic fauna & flora; heritage, culture, history, architecture: long-standing customs & traditions, art and folklore; religion & superstition; colourful ethnic groups; bustling markets, tasty food… The list is long.
Yet, even with this impressive offer, what is almost always celebrated in visitors’ feedback is Myanmar’s people, their kindness, their genuine smiles, their curiosity about their guest visitors, and their spontaneous willingness to help and serve foreign travelers.

About Us
The Chinthe Track was born in 2010 as a local DMC in Myanmar. I head a small team of devoted professionals with one single goal: creating unforgettable moments while traveling in Myanmar, The Golden Land.
I myself am a Belgian national, I have been living in Yangon with my family for about 20 years and I have worked for renowned European-rooted tour operators for the past 30 years in the Greater Indochina area in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and of course, Myanmar.
